Out-of-Box Scheduled Emergency Tests |

Note:
|
Designer comes equipped with an out-of-box, preconfigured scheduled Emergency Function Test and an Emergency Duration Test. The purpose of this is to regularly test the battery of ungrouped emergency ballasts.
The router will automatically perform these tests on ungrouped emergency ballasts only, by providing them with an Emergency Auto Group based on their long address. The emergency ballasts are automatically assigned a day of the week – for every week – to perform a Function Test, and a week of the year to perform a Duration Test. The day of the Function Test and the week number of the Duration Test is shown in the properties of the emergency ballast. The Function Test will occur at 1 a.m. on the allocated day, and the Duration Test will occur at 2 a.m. on the Sunday of the allocated week. The schedule is fixed and uneditable. If you want to use a different schedule, group the devices and create a schedule. For information, see Scheduled Emergency Function Test and Scheduled Emergency Duration Test.
