DALI emergency lighting is in place in case of a mains power failure to your lighting system . The DALI emergency lighting ballast is fitted with a battery that is kept charged by the mains supply.
There are two types of emergency lighting: maintained and non-maintained.
Maintained emergency lighting is always on and stays on when there is a power failure.
Non-maintained emergency lighting turns on only when there is a power failure.
There are two types of emergency ballast: switchable and dimmable.
Switchable emergency ballasts can be turned on and off at any time and can be maintained or non-maintained.
Dimmable emergency ballasts can be dimmed at any time and can be maintained or non-maintained.
