Enabling and Disabling Daylight Saving Time |

These scheduler entries enable Daylight Saving (putting the clock forward by one hour) and disable Daylight Saving (putting the clock back again by one hour). For more information, see Daylight Saving Time.
This section gives a detailed example of how to enable Daylight Saving Time. To disable Daylight Saving Time, follow a similar procedure, but select Scheduled Daylight Saving Disable instead of Scheduled Daylight Saving Enable.

This example shows how to set Daylight Saving Time to be activated on 31st March at 2 a.m. every year.
You need to create a condition (for the date to activate daylight saving time), and a scheduler entry (for the time to activate daylight saving time).
1a. In the Conditions view, right-click, select Insert > AND Condition (to open the Conditions view, select View > Conditions).
1b. Rename the AND condition: in the Conditions view, right-click, select Insert > AND Condition,
Enter the new name (31 Mar in this example).
1c. In the Conditions view, right-click, select Insert > Day and Month.
1d. In the Conditions view, click the new item (in this example, 17 of Mar)
1e. In the Properties view, select the date on which you want to activate Daylight Saving Time (in this example, 31st March)
1f. You have now created the Date condition: in the Conditions view, the condition item will now show its new date (in this example, 31 of Mar)
Now create the scheduler entry, using the date condition you have just created.
2a. In the Scheduler view, right-click, and then select Insert > Scheduled Daylight Saving Enable.
A new row will appear in the Scheduler view, like this:
2b. Click on the Daylight Saving Enable row, and, if the Properties view is not visible, open it by selecting View > Properties, or pressing F4.
2c. Edit the Daylight Saving Enable properties in the Trigger Time section.
Time style:
Click in the Time Style field and click .
Select
either 'Clock Time' (for 24-hour clock time), 'Dawn Time' or 'Dusk
Time' (to set enabling of Daylight Saving relative to the pre-determined
dusk or dawn times).
To set Daylight Saving Time to be
activated at 2 a.m., select Clock Time.
Time:
If you chose 'Clock Time' in the Time Style field, to set the time at which Daylight Saving is enabled:
Click in the Time field and click .
Enter the time (in hh:mm:ss) at which to enable Daylight Saving.
Click
to apply the changes.
To set Daylight Saving Time to be
activated at 2 a.m., enter 02:00:00.
Condition:
Select the Date condition you created in step 1 (See: Create a "Date and Time" condition)
In this example, select the condition '31 March' from the drop-down list, and click to apply the changes.
Offset (for Dusk / Dawn Time)

If you chose 'Dusk Time' or Dawn Time' in the Time Style field, to set the time at which Daylight Saving is enabled, relative to the Dusk / Dawn time:
Click in the Offset field and click .
Enter the time (in mins), before or after the Dusk / Dawn time, at which to enable Daylight Saving.
Click to apply the changes.
To disable Daylight Saving Time, follow a similar procedure,but (step 2a.) select 'Scheduled Daylight Saving Disable' instead of 'Scheduled Daylight Saving Enable'.
