		Pause and Resume the Event Log

When an event occurs, the Event Log display is updated. This can make it difficult to examine a particular part of the log. However, it is possible to pause and resume the log window so you can examine the log, uninterrupted by updates.

Ensure that the Event Log is visible. See View the Event Log.

Pause the Event Log Display

Click to pause the Event Log display.

Resume the Event Log Display

Click to resume the Event Log display.

Tip:

No information is lost by pausing the log display. When is clicked, logging continues in the background but the log display does not update. When is clicked, the log display is updated with all routing entries that occurred while it was paused.
