Export the Event Log

The Event Log can be exported to a CSV Stands for Comma Separated Values. A way to store information in a file so that it can be used by other applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel). file. This is a portable format for the data, so that can it be viewed in other applications that support CSV, such as Microsoft Excel.

Export the Event Log to a CSV file

1. Ensure that the Event Log is visible. See View the Event Log.

2. Click . The Save As dialog box appears.

3. Browse for a location for the log file.

4. In the File name field, type in a name for the log file.

5. Click Save. The log is saved as a CSV file.
