Connecting via Ethernet

Ethernet connection is useful for monitoring and designing the lighting system A network of client PCs, routers, control devices, control gear, and lamps, and it is ideal for a permanent local connection.

This type of connection requires the following equipment:

• Designer software

• client computer

• Ethernet cable

• Helvar 905, 910 or 920 router(s), and

• (if connecting via this:) a hub or switch.
