905/910/920 LED States During Normal Operation

During normal operation the 905, 910 and 920 router LEDs flash in the following ways.

The LEDs are on the front of the routers.

Note that 905 and 910 routers have DALI subnets only. The 920 router can control DALI, SDIM and DMX subnets.

Power / Status

Lit from power up, then flashes rapidly for a few seconds while the software version number blinks on the DALI1, DALI2 and DMX LEDs

Stays ON except for a short OFF period every 5 to 10 second.
If the network cable is not connected this LED flashes rapidly.

Continuous rapid flashing indicates a software error or disconnected network cable.

The error number is indicated by the flashing of the DALI1, DALI2 and DMX LEDs

-
DALI 1

Flashes first digit of software version number Stays ON except when there is activity on the DALI1 bus, e.g. button presses on panels, when it will blink OFF Flashes first digit of error number Goes off when DALI1 subnet is in line fault state

SDIM

(920 only)

- Stays OFF unless there is activity on the SDIM bus. The more devices that are connected the more often the LED will blink ON - -
DALI 2

Flashes second digit of software version number Stays ON except when there is activity on the DALI2 bus, e.g. button presses on panels, when it will blink OFF Flashes second digit of error number Goes off when DALI2 subnet is in line fault state

DMX

(920 only)

Flashes third digit of software version number

For DMX-IN the LED will flash on once approximately every 5 seconds. If the gap between packets becomes large or packets are corrupted or stop altogether the LED will remain off.

For DMX-OUT the LED will flash on twice approximately every 5 seconds
