905/910/920 LED Flash Codes After Detection of an Error State

In an error state the router LEDs will flash a preprogramd set of colours to signify abnormal behaviour.

The LEDs are on the front of the routers.

Note that 905 and 910 routers have DALI subnets only. The 920 router can control DALI, SDIM and DMX subnets.

The steps for identifying the errors are detailed below:

General Application Error

In these cases, the router will flash in the following manner:

Label

LED

Power / Status

LED flashes at 10 Hz while the error code is shown on the DALI 1, DALI 2 and SDIM/DMX LEDs.

DALI 1

Flashes first digit of error code.

SDIM

(920 only)

Flashes the third digit + 1 of the error code after the second digit has been shown on the DALI2 LED.
DALI 2

Flashes second digit of the error code after the first digit has been shown on the DALI1 LED.

DMX

(920 only)

Flashes the third digit + 1 of the error code after the second digit has been shown on the DALI2 LED.

Link / Activity

Flashes to indicate activity

Operating System Error

If the error relates to operating system software, the router will flash in the following manner:

Power / Status

LED blinks on at 5 Hz for a number of flashes corresponding to the errors (see table below), followed by a period in which the LED remains off.

Note:

  • Only the Power / Status LED will flash if operating system errors occur. All other LEDs will remain off
