4 Wall Mount Dimmer Pack

This item is used to control levels for LV Tungsten, cold cathode and dimmable fluorescent loads. Dimmer curves are selectable for each load For example, dimmers, relay units, ballasts etc. Receives messages from control devices and performs the relevant action e.g. sets the lighting it controls to the relevant level. Some control may be possible at the device itself. Also known as Control Gear or LIU, see entries for both. type, including non-dim (for switched loads). There are several models of Ambience Dimmer, each comprising 4 dimming channels.

In Designer, we are concerned only with the number of dimming channels, not with the choice of dimmer that will provide the channels.
