Designer includes many features that allow you to change the way the lighting system works.
You may want to use passwords to prevent inexperienced or unauthorised users making changes to the lighting system.
See User Modes.
No password is required. If you enter Editor mode, you will be asked for a password (the Advanced Mode password).
Required to enter Advanced Mode (see User Modes).
If Designer is in Advanced Mode, you can change the Advanced Mode password in the Security Settings section of Options (select Tools > Options).
Required to enter Pro Mode (see User Modes).
If Designer is in Pro Mode, you can change the Pro Mode password in the Security Settings section of Options (select Tools > Options).

If Designer is in Pro Mode, you can change the Firmware Upgrade password. You will need the existing Firmware Upgrade password to change it to a new one.
If you have forgotten your Advanced Mode password, you can still access those features by providing a higher level password, such as the Pro Mode password.
If you have forgotten your password and have no higher level password available to you, you will not be able to access those features of Designer.
